Likewise, the current policies of BYOD (for “Bring Your Own Device”) allow an employee to use his personal Smartphone to solve tasks associated with his job. This greatly increases the flexibility of the worker at the time of its professional activity.
In 2013, Locken developed My Locken to facilitate the work of the end user of the Locken access control system. This app, designed for all users of Locken electronic keys, provides real-time information about the validity of a key. Over the past year, Locken wanted the app to move forward by getting involved in our client’s operational work-flow, with the aim of improving access management. These new dedicated apps come as a completely personalized service. They allow real-time collection of user information (identification, access point, location, etc.) and integration of a series of tasks into the existing applications of the client organization. This evolution brings us closer to the full view over the access, while allowing us to add an extra level of security to the solution.
Currently, Vodafone Spain already has a custom app developed by Locken, integrated into its procedure of remote sites management, available to all users.
