Locken is in charge of access control for the "Dublin Centre Convention"

In 2015, the 350 doors at the Convention Centre Dublin were fitted with the Locken solution. This system is an effective way of controlling and restricting access to the various areas, allowing security officers to be reassigned to other duties. Formerly in charge of opening controlled access points, returning keys and checking the key register, they are now more involved in the centre's security initiatives.

Access control objectives for the Dublin Convention Centre

Philip Hartigan, Head of Security at Convention Centre Dublin, explains:

We use the Locken solution to manage 6,500 door openings every month. The system is built on a high-performance software program, effectively controlling and restricting access to the various areas. With the Locken electronic access control solution, we can give our customers tailored access rights with access to their particular area in the specified time slot

Philip Hartigan, Head of Security at Convention Centre Dublin

Exhibition and conference centres play host to multiple access points, hundreds of employees and contractors and thousands of visitors every single day. The Locken solution offers a reliable access control solution to an industry exposed to risk of terrorism, vandalism and burglary.
