My Locken brings truly mobile custom made services

From a business point of view, one of the biggest advantages of the new smartphones is probably the possibility offered to the user to execute a series of administrative tasks from any location.

 

Unlike traditional access to email, we find every day new specific applications on our phones, which allow us to carry out complex tasks without having to physically be at the office or in front of a PC.

Likewise, the current policies of BYOD (for "Bring Your Own Device") allow an employee to use his personal Smartphone to solve tasks associated with his job. This greatly increases the flexibility of the worker at the time of its professional activity.

In 2013, Locken developed My Locken to facilitate the work of the end user of the Locken access control system. This app, designed for all users of Locken electronic keys, provides real-time information about the validity of a key. Over the past year, Locken wanted the app to move forward by getting involved in our client’s operational work-flow, with the aim of improving access management. These new dedicated apps  come as a completely personalized service. They allow real-time collection of user information (identification, access point, location, etc.) and integration of a series of tasks into the existing applications of the client organization. This evolution brings us closer to the full view over the access, while allowing us to add an extra level of security to the solution.

Currently, Vodafone Spain already has a custom app developed by Locken, integrated into its procedure of remote sites management, available to all users.
