IFSEC and NEC secured by LOCKEN

06/27/2013 - 00:00

IFSEC International
With more than 650 security companies exhibiting and 30,000 security professionals visiting, one would expect IFSEC International to be one of the most secure exhibitions in the UK.
So it's good to know that the Birmingham NEC recently installed one of the most state-of-the-art access control systems to protect delegates and exhibitors alike. Walking through the NEC while IFSEC and FIREX International were in full swing, we were happy to see the Locken solution installed at many access points.
IFSEC also provided LOCKEN with an excellent opportunity to showcase its latest access control innovations, particularly in the context of the expansion of its markets in Europe, and especially in UK and Ireland.
The LOCKEN wireless access control solution generated considerable interest: a significant stream of visitors allowed us to reach out to many potential new customers from many targeted utility industries, as well as to reinforce ties with existing customers. “Many of our security and facilities managers visitors were keen to understand the best solution to secure and manage their accesses. They were then pleasantly surprised to learn of the potential for improved efficiency and short ROI in other company departmental areas. Here at Locken we specialise in catering to both existing specific needs and future expectations,” remarked Nick Dooley, Locken UK Managing Director.
“The unique, all-digital concept with the energy supplied by the key raised a lot of interest as it allows simple, flexible and efficient access management. It is supported by proven software allowing greater operational efficiency and enhanced profitability. “
Locken already has major clients in the United Kingdom in the electricity, water and public space sectors. The IFSEC experience confirmed that the British market has a great potential for development for Locken, which has already sold its solution to secure 100,000 sites in Europe.
